Meet the team

As a chartered financial advisor with a career in Financial Services that spans 20 years, there isn’t much Keith doesn’t know about Financial Planning. He’s worked at some of the UK’s leading Financial Service providers and institutions such as Standard Life, The Chartered Insurance Institute, Nationwide Building Society, and Lighthouse Financial Advice.

He provides specialist advice across pension and investment planning, as well as corporate business planning — with a particular passion for small to medium businesses. Outside of work, Keith is married with two young children, Eva and Rory, whom he loves to kick a ball about with and reminisce over his football days. He loves travelling – usually somewhere sunny, and enjoys eating out with family and friends. Occasionally you’ll find him teeing off at his local golf course — he tells the office he only plays well in nice weather, which is unfortunate for Keith, living in Scotland.

Prior to joining Strategic Wealth Solutions, Craig enjoyed a 17-year career in professional football that took him across England, Scotland, and Sweden. When Craig decided to join his brother and step into financial services four years ago, he brought his extensive network of connections and relationships from his footballing days with him.

Based in Edinburgh, Craig brings his own degree of professionalism and work ethic to the team. His accomplished social skills are evident in the strong client relationships he’s built, many he’s collected from his years on the pitch.

Away from the world of finance, Craig enjoys spending his time with his  family. His wife, Carolyn, and himself have two little boys — Blake and Zac. Craig still plays football to keep active and enjoys getting away somewhere nice and sunny on holiday. You may notice that Craig’s coffee drinking habits are considerably above average.

Jenny has been at SWS since Keith set up the company in 2014.  Starting off helping Keith with administration duties until the team was formed she has now taken on the role of Client Relationship Manager.

Before Jenny had her 2 children, she worked as a Regional Sales Manager for a luxury skincare company which has given her the Customer Service skills & interpersonal experience needed to do the role she is in now.

Jenny works hard to build, maintain and strengthen the relationships we have with all of our new and existing clients.  This also includes looking after our website & social media content to ensure regular market updates are provided.

In Jenny’s spare time she enjoys walking her dogs, spending time with family and friends, exercising and going on holiday.

Kerry joined SWS in February 2020. After 13 years at St. James’s Place Wealth Management in Edinburgh as Head of Business PA, she was looking for a new challenge.  Kerry knew Keith from his days at Nationwide and eagerly accepted his offer of managing the Practice.

Kerry started her career as a Legal Secretary eventually qualifying as a para-legal at a well-known firm of Edinburgh solicitors.

Kerry manages the day-to-day running of the Practice within regulatory requirements, client servicing which includes the implementation of SWS’s service proposition and the processes needed to support this, whilst supporting Keith in the development of the Practice.

Away from work, Kerry has a grown-up son, Matthew.  She enjoys going on holiday, spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and going to the movies.  Passionate about history, Kerry loves visiting places of historical interest. Kerry also has a keen interest in languages and is tri-lingual in Afrikaans and Dutch, in addition to her native tongue, and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Danish.

Mark provides Business Administration support for Strategic Wealth Solutions, specialising in customer relations and all administration within the business.

Utilising his experience gained within Customer Service over the last six years, Mark knows what exceptional customer service looks like. Over the last three years, Mark has been specialising in Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pensions and all aspects considered within pensions, including Transfer, Funds Switches and Retirement Options.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys socialising with friends, especially whilst playing football or at the gym. He listens to music a lot but will switch it off when his favourite football team, Hearts of Midlothian, are playing. Mark has a passion for travelling, with a particular love for Canada — where he hopes to return soon to explore the East side.
